Involvement Opportunities

Ambassadors Committee

Ambassadors are the face of the Chamber. These dedicated Members are fully committed to the furtherance of community based business, assist with Chamber events, participate in ribbon cuttings and help orchestrate Membership campaigns. The Ambassadors also welcome the new Members to the Chamber, and serve as educated contacts within the Chamber network.

Events Committee

You will largely be playing a supportive role, helping staff members with all of the things that go into making a great event. If you want more responsibility, and want to have ownership of certain areas, that is possible, but not expected.

  • Volunteering at the event
  • Helping us get in-kind donations and/or pick them up
  • Creating event displays
  • Decorations at events
  • Finding corporate sponsors
  • Tracking attendees, donations, etc.
  • Coordinating volunteers
  • Promoting the event/marketing
  • Planning aspects of the event
  • Anything else that will make the event a success

Government Affairs Committee

This body every month in the Chamber’s Board Room addressing issues such as urban planning, transportation, development, taxation and state and regional legislation that impact the business community.

Marketing and Media Committee

The Marketing and Media Committee's focus is on the marketing, advertising and communication issues of Cliffside Park Chamber of Commerce member companies. An objective of the group is to provide a forum not only to discuss existing issues within the industry, but also to leverage the combined experience and presence of the Cliffside Park Chamber’s members with marketing interests.

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee is focused on bringing new members into the CPCC, making them feel welcome and helping them recognize the benefits their business will experience as a result of their membership. Members of the committee are available to answer questions about membership cost and benefits. Individuals on the membership committee are always on the lookout for new business in the area served by the CPCC and often will go to new businesses and welcome the owners into the community and invite them to explore the many benefits the Chamber has to offer. The members of this committee assist new and existing members in getting the most out of their membership and finding the most beneficial ways a member can connect with other members to establish professional contacts.

Public Relations Committee

This committee focuses on communications originating from the Chamber. Their goal is to ensure that all Chamber publications are professional and are branded in a manner to best enhance the lasting image of the Chamber. The group, first and foremost, is project driven as it is responsible for developing the annual Membership and Community Guide, Users Guide, Menu of Offerings and work directly with the appearance and functionality of the chamber’s web site.
